Consultancy Services for the Expansion of Takoradi Port

The project involved the collection, study and analysis of all relevant documentation and information, discussions and consultations with the appropriate Authorities and players in the port industry with the aim of presenting to GPHA design proposals, a Takoradi Port Master Plan, EPC Tender evaluation reports and Tender documents with drawings and bills of quantities for the construction of essential facilities and other ancillary works at Takoradi Port. The assignment was in three parts:

• Prepare Takoradi Port Master Plan [TPMP]
• Design, Tender and Supervise Construction of Essential Port Facilities
• Review and Evaluation of EPC Tender Offers

NKA was involved with mobilizing personnel for the data collection exercise, analysis of results, report writing, design and preparation of the Takoradi Port Master Plan in association with Messrs HPC of Germany

NKA ensured that accurate and adequate data was collected to aid in the design of the project
