Elmina Fishing Port Rehabilitation & Expansion Project Development Project

Project Overview
The works for this project are summarised as the creation of a new fishing port that will include: a main breakwater with quay wall, a lee breakwater with quay wall, optimally utilising the old main (head) breakwater, a basin area with a target depth of between -3 m CD and -5 m CD, an access road, a new warehouse, construction of a shed for fishing net mending, construction of a toilet block, and the construction of a day-care centre. The works also include the upgrade of existing facilities (administration block, fish market, workshop and maintenance dredging of existing port, restoration of the area in front of the castle, including paving of the area in front of the market and the castle - Landscaping and general improvements to the aesthetical attributes of the area surrounding the castle waterfront)

NKA in association with Messrs Yogarib Engineering Services are the Employer Representatives on the projects monitoring and supervising the work of the Contractor and Consultant on behalf of the Employer
