Project Overview
The Government of Ghana secured loans from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development/World Bank for the construction of the Accra East Corridor Roads project. As part of the road corridor development, the contractor was required to undertake the construction of transport terminals and public places of convenience for the La, Teshie and Nungua communities under the community upgrading component of the project. Messrs NKA Consult were appointed consultants to provide the pre-contract services for the project
NKA’s Role
NKA Consult designed three public toilets, one each for La, Teshie and Nungua and two (2) transport terminals, one each for Nungua and Teshie for construction. The Nungua terminal has been constructed since then
